Developing your own optin list is probably one
of the most over hyped over sold
subjects bandied around the Internet marketing world.
No doubt having your own opt in list is a great advantage for internet
marketing.
It is also one of the hardest things to achieve, or so you would think!
That is why the so called big guys make a fortune from average
marketers by
releasing new listbuilding techniques, ebooks, training
etc every week.
Yes they are making money...but are you building a list?
It really comes down to having your own products or services
to promote.
Also to start listbuilding you must have something different of
perceived value as an enticement,
a give away to get people to take notice, then develop your credibility
before going on to promote
your products and opportunities.
One thing I will say, once you start building a list, I
suggest sending them a newsletter
no more than once a week, unless you have a really important update..
This keeps you in their awareness without bombarding them.
I am on many of the top internet marketers lists to keep track of what

but I have to tell you, some of the so called heavy hitters get many of
their emails
deleted before I even read them...
once I start getting more than one a day or even one every day from the
same marketer,
I just start deleting without reading, I just cant be bothered
reading all their hype everyday!.

consuming and generally the
traffic is low quality, let me qualify that...
most traffic exhanges are flooded by struggling website owners
trying to generate free traffic, so you get clickthroughs but not
necessarily by
people who will read your website, let alone ready to buy your product.
BUT>>If
you are advertising genuine online income

You may convert some of these visitors.
Only use manual exchanges...auto surf programs are a complete waste of
time
except to ad some web traffic to your stats.
